Students from specialized educational institutions in Yakutia are undergoing practical training at the Lena Bridge construction site

02.07.2026. Students from specialized educational institutions in Yakutia are undergoing practical training at the Lena Bridge construction site

From June 23 to July 21, 10 students from M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University and the Yakutsk Municipal Construction Technical School are gaining practical experience on one of the country's largest infrastructure projects.

The interns from various parts of the republic, including the Ust-Aldan, Namsky, Churapchinsky, Vilyuysky, and Megino-Kangalassky districts, are housed in an administrative and amenity complex located directly on the construction site, which offers comfortable living and leisure facilities. Students are assigned to teams where they undergo training under the supervision of experienced specialists. After work, they can play volleyball and table tennis.

The internship is part of the holding's ongoing collaboration with educational institutions in Yakutia. On June 17, VIS Group signed a partnership agreement with the republic's Ministry of Education and Science, joining the “Professional Degree” educational cluster.

Starting in September, internships at the Lena Bridge construction site will be integrated into the curricula of specialized educational institutions. Students will be able to complete 80% of their training directly on-site, gaining practical experience in real construction conditions.

The Lena Bridge is one of Russia's largest concession projects, implemented by VIS Group as part of the “Infrastructure for Life” national project. The road crossing over the Lena River will provide transport accessibility for 87% of the population of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). The total length of the bridge will be 14.5 km.
