The concession to build a bridge across the Ob River includes not only the construction of new transport infrastructure but also the maintenance of the roads used by the concessionaire for the movement of vehicles engaged in the work. These obligations include the renovation of the street and road network on both the right and left banks of Novosibirsk.
A total of 315,000 m² of road surface is slated for the repair work during the current season. Currently, the main work is concentrated on the right bank. Road surface repairs on Aksenova Street have already been completed, and work on Pervomayskaya Street is ongoing.
To date, VIS Group has rehabilitated over 34,000 m² of asphalt concrete surface, an area equivalent to nearly five football fields. The work package includes milling the worn pavement and installing a new 8-cm-thick asphalt concrete layer. Hot fine-grained type B mix is used for the repairs, ensuring high pavement strength and resistance to heavy traffic loads and temperature fluctuations. To minimize congestion, the work is primarily performed at night.
